Is Allontas available on iOS and Android?
Allontas is a mobile‑only app for iPhone and Android. There is no web or desktop version.

Households that want to plan spending before it happens. If you compare grocery prices, juggle birthdays and holiday budgets, or want a forward view of your cash flow, you'll feel at home.

Grocery comparison

How many stores are included?
Walmart, Publix, Kroger, Target, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Costco, and Aldi at launch. The supported list can change over time. Local availability depends on your ZIP, so only retailers near you show up in your comparisons.
How is pricing kept current?
Prices refresh nightly from supported retailers, so when you build a basket you're working with current data. In‑store tags can change between refreshes, but the nightly update keeps comparisons close to real‑time.
Can I create and save shopping lists?
Yes. Save any basket as a named list ("Weekly", "Costco run", "Holiday cookout") and re‑run the comparison anytime. Allontas remembers quantities and brand preferences.
How does the split‑store option work?
Pure price math: Allontas finds the cheapest combination of items across stores in your basket, shows you the totals, and lets you decide how to shop. it.

How does event auto‑pricing work?
Type the item name (e.g. "PS5 Slim 825GB") on an event. Allontas checks supported retailers and pins the lowest price we can find to the date when you add it. For things you can't buy online (parties, anniversaries, cruises, trips) just type your own estimate. Want a fresh check later? Tap to re‑run.
Can I edit or remove planned expenses?
Yes. Drag to reschedule, tap to adjust the price, or delete entirely. Every change rolls into your runway projection instantly.
Will Allontas remind me before events?
Yes. By default you get a push notification 7 days and 1 day before each priced event.

Do I have to link my bank account?
Yes. Allontas pulls transactions exclusively through Plaid (read‑only). Connecting your accounts is what powers categorization, plan vs. actual, and the forward runway.
How does Allontas get my transactions?
Through Plaid, read‑only. Allontas syncs your transactions automatically, no manual entry. Categorization, plan vs. actual, and the forward runway all run off the Plaid feed.
How are recurring expenses handled?
Mark any transaction as recurring (monthly, annual, custom). Allontas projects it forward and includes it in your runway from now until the date you set it to stop.
Can I adjust my plan during the month?
Yes. Roll surpluses from one category to another, increase or decrease any line. The runway recalculates as you go.

AI insights

What kind of insights do I get?
One‑sentence summaries of patterns and changes: "Dining out trending +24%", "Groceries 40% under plan", "Netflix renewed at a higher price". Each insight links to the actual transactions that caused it.
Can Allontas predict my spending?
No. Allontas summarizes what's happened and projects your plan forward, but we deliberately don't make predictive claims. Every number you see ties back to a real, dated transaction.
Are recommendations personalized?
Yes. Insights are based entirely on your transactions and your plan, never on aggregated data from other users.

Privacy & security

How does Allontas protect my data?
Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES‑256). Bank connections go through Plaid as read‑only. Allontas literally cannot move money. We're SOC 2 Type II in progress.
Will you sell my information?
No. Never. Allontas's revenue is the subscription. Full stop. Your transactions aren't shared, sold, or used to train models for other customers.
Is my financial data encrypted?
Yes. AES‑256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, individual encryption keys per user. Bank credentials never touch our servers. Plaid handles that.
What happens if I delete my account?
Your data is deleted or de‑identified within a defined period after your deletion request, except where retention is required for legal, fraud‑prevention, security, financial, or recordkeeping purposes. See our

No permanent free tier. Charging a fair subscription is what lets us refuse ads and never sell your data.
